Jessica Simpson’s  Weight Loss


Jessica Simpson is often made fun of for the silly things she says, and for her weight gain a well. Maybe that is why we should not be that surprised to read that she says she did not realize all of the pregnancy weight she gained would not automatically fall off once the baby was born. And, since she did not think losing the weight would be a problem, she allowed herself to indulge in all of her pregnancy cravings and whims.

So, after giving birth to her precious baby girl, Maxwell Drew, Jessica was faced with a challenge she did not quite expect. That is why she turned to Weight Watchers for help. Now that the 32-year-old fashionista and songstress has signed a $4 million contract with the famous weight loss company to become their next spokesperson.

“I’ve lost weight every week [since beginning the Weight Watchers program],” says Simpson.

Just how much weight she has lost will be revealed next week when a Weight Watchers commercial showing off her post baby body will air. However, she does say that she has done it the healthy way–by making healthy food choices and exercising.



Her food choices are, of course, according to the Weight Watchers point system, which is a calorie counting system. This means she must eat less or none of the macaroni and cheese that she loves so much. In fact, Simpson says that she just eats less of everything these days, though she does still enjoy her chocolate. She allows herself one mini bag of M&Ms to satisfy that sweet tooth craving.

As for her exercise routine, Simpson works out with personal trainer Harley Pasternak. With his assistance, she is encouraged to do at least 60 minutes of cardio on at least five days a week.

“My boobs are way too big to run at this point,” she says. “I’m just walking.”
